The Workshop

Build the visual language of your brand, in-house.

A custom workshop for hospitality brands, restaurant groups, and food businesses who want to build internal visual storytelling capability — not a one-off shoot, but a practical upgrade to how the team sees, shoots, and uses imagery day to day.

Every workshop is designed around your brand. We start from your visual identity, your menu, your venues, and the content your team is already making — then work through what's landing, what isn't, and where the quickest gains are. The day combines structured teaching with live shooting on your own product, in your own spaces, under real working conditions.

By the end, your team leaves with a shared vocabulary, a working set of references, and a set of frames shot during the day that they can actually use. It's a workshop that produces both skill and output.

01
A Brand Visual Language
A documented set of visual principles specific to your brand — light, framing, styling, colour — that the team can apply consistently across channels and shooters.
02
Shooting Your Own Product
Hands-on practice shooting your actual dishes, venues, and people — not stock exercises. The day produces usable frames alongside the teaching.
03
Phone or Camera, Both
Tailored to whatever your team actually uses day to day. Social-first teams work on mobile; marketing and PR teams work on camera. Often both.
04
A Content Pipeline
Practical workflow — from capture to edit to publish — that fits the cadence your team is operating at, with checkpoints for quality control along the way.
05
A Reviewed Edit
An on-screen review of the day's work, together as a team — selects, sequencing, and honest feedback. The moment where the teaching actually sticks.
06
Reference & Standards
A leave-behind reference — visual examples, shot types, and do/don't notes — so the work continues past the workshop day and new hires can be brought up to standard.

Pre-Workshop
Discovery & Brief
A planning call to understand the brand, the team, and the gap you're trying to close. The curriculum and shot list are built from this.
Session One
Principles & Reference
Opening the day with a grounded teaching session — visual principles, brand references, and the frame-by-frame breakdown of what makes strong F&B work.
Session Two
Live Shoot
Hands-on shooting on your own product and in your own spaces. Live direction, small-group coaching, and iterative feedback through the set.

Review & Handover
Team review of the day's work, selection and sequencing notes, and handover of the leave-behind reference for continued use.
